How We Collect Information
We collect information when you become a Registered User of our Service and create a User Account. You do so by logging into an account that you already have with certain third-party social networking sites (“SNS”) (such as Facebook) via our Service. For example, if you are not currently a Registered User of our Service and you click on “Sign in Using Facebook” in the Facebook Connect box on our Site, you will be asked to enter your Facebook credentials and then be given the option to register with AppTap and create a User Account.
We also collect information that you voluntarily provide when you become a Registered User or when you use certain aspects of our Service (e.g., entering an email address on a form to send us an email ).

Information We Collect
We collect certain information about you that may include, but is not limited to, your name, gender, profile photo, free-form biography, location/hometown, website and email address (“Personal Information”). When you create a User Account by logging into the Service via an SNS, you use the Personal Information you have already provided to the SNS to create your User Account on our Service. By using Facebook Connect, you are granting AppTap permission to access the Personal Information in your Facebook account and integrate it into the AppTap Service, pursuant to the Facebook Terms of Use regarding your use of our Service via Facebook. The Personal Information we collect and embed in our Service, therefore, may depend on the privacy settings you have with the SNS. Accordingly, you should check the privacy settings on your SNS account and review the SNS’s privacy and data policies, in addition to this Policy. When using our Site, we may also collect information concerning your usage of our Services (such as apps reviewed or downloaded) and User Content you provide.
When you use the Services, AppTap automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser or mobile platform, including location information (such as zip code, postal code and country); computer or device configuration (such as operating system, connection speed, and peripherals); the IP Internet (IP) address and URL of the website that sent you to the our Site; and the page you requested or viewed. We treat this data “Non-Personal Information,” except where we are required to treat it as Personal Information under applicable law. Certain Non-Identifying Information could be considered part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining your zip code with your street address) in a way that enables you to be personally identified or contacted. But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other Non-Identifying Information (for example, your viewing preferences).
How We Use Your Information
We may combine your Personal Information with Non-Personal Information and aggregate it with information collected from other AppTap Users to attempt to provide you with a better experience, to improve the quality and value of the Service and to analyze and understand how our Service is used. We may also provide aggregated information to our third party partners so that they may understand how people use their services and how our Users, collectively, use our Site. We may also use the combined information without aggregating it to serve you specifically, for instance to deliver a product to you according to your preferences or restrictions.
We use your Personal Information to create your User Account and to verify your right to access certain or our restricted Services . We use Personal Information to respond to your questions and inquiries. We use Personal Information to connect you with other AppTap Users. We may use your Personal Information to bill you for paid Services, if any, which may include verifying authorization of credit card usage before any such purchase. We may use your Personal Information to provide you with AppTap newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. If you decide that you no longer wish to receiver any such communications from us, you may unsubscribe by updating your preferences in your account settings or, in the case of email communications from us, by using the “unsubscribe” feature.
Third Party Sites and Authorized Service Providers
We engage certain third parties to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share your Personal Information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only to the extent such parties agree to abide by our Privacy Policy with respect to your Personal Information. We may also share your Personal Information with the SNS through which you have connected to your AppTap User Account.
Our Services may contain links to other third-party websites. AppTap has no control over the information collected from or about you by any third-party sites after you have left our Site. AppTap is not responsible, and assumes no liabilities, for the privacy policies and/or practices on such other websites. When linking to another site you should read the privacy policy governing that website. Our Privacy Policy only governs information collected on our Site.
If you wish to delink your AppTap and SNS accounts at any time, you may do so by changing your SNS account settings. You may also review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in your User Account by contacting us or by editing your profile in the SNS. We may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
We care about the security of your information. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of information collected and maintained through the Service. However, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized persons. Our Policy Towards Children
AppTap is concerned about the privacy and safety of children when they use the internet. We will not knowingly request personally identifiable information online from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. Our Site and Services are for general audiences and are not targeted to or intended for use by children. Unfortunately, we cannot always determine the age of a visitor to our Site or user of our Services.
Email Communication
AppTap may send occasional system messages to you including emails covering network or legal functions like resetting passwords, account creation and deletion confirmations, changes to our legal policies, or major functional updates or changes.
